There are no bad emotions!

"Negative emotions" are what we call anger, fear, grief, or sadness. However, they are as necessary as joy, excitement, or peace.

Accepting them will change your life.

Ignoring your own feelings is more damaging than any emotion

Let's start with an example question - we often do something we don't feel like doing. Why?

  1. We ignore our feelings about the issue. Instead, we pretend they don't exist and do what "we have to do."
  2. We mentally scold ourselves for "bad" emotions, which are inappropriate because we should do or feel this or that.

In the long run, such functioning made all these emotions accumulate in us. Not accepting them won't make them go away. However, once you stop ignoring them, it will be easier for you to understand them.

What are your emotions saying?

Once you've accepted your emotions, try to figure out what they mean. Every emotion is a message to you. As you learn to find information in your feelings, you will have a chance to discover what you can do with them. Of course, this is not about fighting emotions. The point is that frustration, anger, or fear can also motivate you to act. Perhaps you need to work on assertiveness, eliminate toxic relationships or devote more time to your passion. You won't know if you don't look deep inside yourself.

Communicate your emotions to others

By giving yourself the right to feel various emotions, you also provide your loved ones a chance to understand them. Accurately answer questions about your well-being. Communicate what emotions specific situations or behaviors evoke in you. This way, mutual understanding will prevail in your relationship with your loved ones.

Every emotion matters. Don't reject your own feelings because if you don't take care of understanding them, no one will.
